Bodywork Designed Around You
No two sessions are exactly alike.
Each appointment draws from Jeanne’s extensive experience and advanced training, with techniques selected according to your individual needs.
Pressure, areas of focus, techniques, and pace are adapted according to what you need that day. As Jeanne gets to know you, she also comes to understand your preferences and how your body responds, allowing the work to become more refined and responsive over time.
Jeanne may draw from one approach or combine several techniques within the same session.
Muscular Therapy
Muscular Therapy uses focused hands-on techniques to address areas of chronic tension, muscular imbalance, overuse, and discomfort.
Sessions may include deeper or more targeted work when appropriate, with attention to patterns that may be contributing to pain or restricted movement.
This approach can be especially useful for recurring tension, stiffness, postural strain, and discomfort related to work, exercise, travel, or everyday activity.
Myofascial Release
Myofascial Release addresses restrictions within the connective tissue, or fascia, that surrounds and supports the muscles and other structures of the body.
Using slow, sustained pressure and gentle stretching, this work is intended to improve tissue mobility, reduce areas of restriction, and support greater ease of movement.
Myofascial techniques may be incorporated into a massage session whenever they are appropriate to the client’s individual needs.
Manual Lymph Drainage
Manual Lymph Drainage is a gentle, specialized technique designed to support the movement of lymphatic fluid through the body.
As a Certified Manual Lymph Drainage Therapist (CMLDT), Jeanne uses light, rhythmic movements that follow the natural pathways of the lymphatic system.
Manual Lymph Drainage may be requested as a primary focus or incorporated into a broader therapeutic session when appropriate. Clients seeking lymphatic care following a medical procedure should obtain clearance from their healthcare provider when indicated.
Prenatal Massage
Prenatal massage provides supportive, individualized bodywork throughout pregnancy, with positioning and techniques adapted for comfort and safety.
Sessions may address common areas of muscular tension and physical strain associated with pregnancy, including the back, hips, shoulders, and legs, while also providing an opportunity for relaxation and restorative care.
With extensive experience in prenatal bodywork, Jeanne adjusts each session according to the client’s stage of pregnancy, comfort, and individual needs.
In-Home Care
Massage takes place in the comfort and privacy of your own home.
For regular clients, Jeanne can leave a massage table in the home, and clients may keep a dedicated set of linens for their personal use. These arrangements are optional and can be discussed once an ongoing schedule is established.
